Description
The sMRT ALERT AIS/DSC is a compact man-overboard transmitter that utilizes AIS and VHF DSC technology to locate persons who have fallen overboard. After programming via the free smartphone app, it is ready for immediate use. An automatic water sensor transmits a distress signal and location upon immersion; an internal DSC receiver displays DSC acknowledgments. The transmitter complies with ECC Class M (ECC/DEC/(22)02) for MOB devices and uses dual GNSS (GPS/Galileo) for rapid positioning. Waterproof up to 10 m, 5-year battery life (replaceable), 5-year warranty, weight 180 g, dimensions approx. 207 x 57 x 23 mm.
