Can I get advice before purchasing?

Yes. Contact us via the contact form or by email at info@hycon-nautico.es, ideally providing your boat type and existing devices. We will help you with the selection.

Electronic charts such as Garmin BlueChart g3 or Navionics+ run on compatible Garmin chartplotters. Tell us your plotter model – we will check compatibility before we ship.

An EPIRB is the vessel’s emergency radio beacon: in an emergency, it alerts rescue coordination centers via the COSPAS-SARSAT satellite system. An MOB transmitter is worn by an individual and alerts their own boat in a “man overboard” situation – depending on the system, via onboard electronics or via AIS/DSC to nearby vessels as well.

Yes. The vessel’s MMSI is programmed into the emergency beacon before delivery. For Jotron EPIRBs purchased from us, we offer initial programming; for this, we need the vessel name, MMSI, call sign, and flag, or a copy of the Ship Station License.
